SeaDive

• Minimum certification level: Open Water SCUBA or equivalent thru a reputable diving organization (PADI, NAUI, CMAS, BSAC, or SSI for example)
• Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) certification thru PADI does NOT meet our requirements due to the depth of the habitat
• Guests that cannot show proof of dive certification will not be allowed to participate.

• Age: Minimum 12 years old
• 12 – 15 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult
• 16 – 17 years old may do this expedition on their own, but must have an adult sign the waiver upon check in

• Guests must bring a swimsuit, but all other gear (wetsuit, dive boots, mask, fins, BCD, weights, etc) will be provided on site
• Guests that require a head covering will be provided with a dive hood upon request.

• Guests are allowed to bring their own mask, fins, and/or dive computer if they would like to.
• For diver and animal safety, we do not allow guests to wear their own wetsuit or use their own BCD/Regulator for this expedition.

• For animal and diver safety, we do not allow any cameras/phones in the water. However, there is a photographer that will take photos from the guest viewing windows.

• Total expedition time is around 1.5 hours. This includes changing time, a dive briefing, the dive itself, and dive debriefing.
• Total time in the water (DIVE TIME) is about 30 minutes.

• This is a guided tour so guests will be accompanied by a colleague diver at all times.
• Max # of guests: 4
• At any point, if the guest feels uncomfortable and does not want to continue, a diver can escort them out of the water.
• At any point, if the guest is deemed unsafe to themselves, the other people in the water, or the animals, they will be escorted out of the water immediately.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Medical insurance cover is not included as part of this experience. In order for you to participate, you must have arranged your own medical insurance in place, that includes diving activities.

This ticket gives you access to the expedition indicated above at SeaWorld® Yas Island Abu Dhabi (the “Park”). This ticket is the property of Miral Experiences LLC, the operator of the Park. Entry and use of the Park is subject to the Park terms of entry, general admission terms and conditions and those set out below:

• Please arrive at Explorers HQ a minimum of 30 minutes before the expedition or will be considered a No-show and shall not be entitled to any refund. You (or a parent/legal guardian) will be required to sign a waiver form in order to take part in the expedition.
• General admission to the Park is required in addition to this ticket and is not included in the cost of this expedition.
• Change and refund policy:
  • This ticket is non-refundable. No-shows are charged at the full price and will not receive a refund.
  • You may request a change to the time or date of your reservation up to 48 hours in advance of your scheduled booking by contacting Yas Concierge between 8:00am and 8:00pm GST (Gulf Standard Time) on 600 511115 (within UAE) or +971 2 496 8000 (outside UAE), or by emailing contact@yasconcierge.com.

• Guests must be at least 12 years old to go on this expedition. Anyone between the age of 12 years to 16 years must be accompanied by a paying adult aged 18 years or older who is also participating in the expedition. 16 to 17 year olds can go on the expedition without an accompanying adult provided they have a guardian 18 years and older to sign their waiver.
• Guests are required to bring their own bathing suits for the expedition.
• Guests are required to wear wetsuits during the expedition.
• Guests must hold a current SCUBA certification card from a reputable diving organization, including but not limited to PADI, NAUI, CMAS, BSAC, or SSI and present the same at check-in.
• Guests must have their own medical insurance cover in place, which includes coverage for diving activities
• Guests must have completed an open water dive within the last 6 months of the date of the expedition. 
• It is not a private tour; you will be a part of a group consisting of maximum 8 guests. We may change the capacity restrictions at our discretion.
• Guests are required to wear wetsuits during the expedition.
• Other restrictions:
  • Guests should not consume alcoholic beverages for at least 12 hours prior to experiencing Sea Dive;
  • Guests should not (i) fly, or (ii) ascend to heights above 300 metres or 1000 ft,  within 12 hours following participation in the expedition;
  • Glasses cannot be worn during the dive itself.  If guests require a prescription mask, they must provide their own. No sunglasses (transitions lenses are acceptable);
  • The guest must be able to read in English and follow the instructions written by the instructor under the water;
  • Not suitable for any guests who have a fear of being surrounded by marine life.
• Guests with any of the below physical conditions is not allowed to join the expedition: 
  • Back or neck issues
  • Seizures
  • Respiratory problems (including Asthma)
  • Expectant Mothers
  • Broken leg/arm
  • Prosthetic leg/arm
  • High blood pressure
  • Mental impairments such as anxiety or phobias (especially claustrophobia)
  • Any other conditions that this expedition could aggravate.
• If you have any questions about medical conditions and participation, please contact your doctor.
• Personal belongings, including phones and cameras, are not permitted for animal safety.
• You must follow the directions and safety instructions given by the authorised representatives of the Park. If any person pulls, grabs, touches, feeds or otherwise displays any unsafe behaviour towards the animal or fails to follow the directions and safety instructions, such persons and their entire group shall be immediately removed from the expedition and may be removed from the Park, denied re-entry and/or banned from admission into the Park (temporarily or permanently) without compensation or a refund.
• Program times, components and animal participation are subject to change. If we need to cancel your booking, we will refund the cost of the expedition. No additional compensation, costs or expenses are payable.
• The determination as to the fitness, qualification and/or suitability of the participant will be made solely at the discretion of the Park authorised representatives. If you are deemed unfit or unsuitable, you will receive a refund for the expedition ticket only but shall not be entitled to any further costs, expenses or compensation. You will not receive a refund of the cost of the general admission ticket.
• Use of the Park and entry to the animal habitat is at your sole risk and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss, injury, or damage sustained.
• We may deny admission or remove you from the expedition and the Park for any reason.

Terms and Conditions for Annual Passholder Discounts on Animal Encounters and Expeditions:

• Discount Eligibility: A 20% discount is offered exclusively to individuals holding a valid Annual Pass ("Passholders") for animal encounters and expeditions ("Experiences") at SeaWorld Yas Island Abu Dhabi (“Venue”).
• Redemption Process:
• Passholders can reserve their Experiences either online through the designated platform or in person at the Venue gate.
• To avail of the discount, Passholders must present their valid Yas Annual Pass card upon redemption at the Venue gate.
