This talk delves into the reasons behind the Arabian Gulf’s exceptionally harsh and distinctive environmental conditions, featuring two oceanographers Dr. Geórgenes Cavalcante and Dr. Zouhair Lachkar. They will guide us through the hydrodynamics of Gulf, exploring its extreme physical properties—such as high temperatures and salinity—and the processes that drive them. The discussion will also delve into how climate change is reshaping the Gulf’s marine environment and what the future holds for its waters.
