In the Rocky Point realm at SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, we’ve created an above and underwater habitat that provides the animals with an enriching environment where they can thrive. Thanks to advanced technology, we can simulate the water currents, wave movements, and lighting conditions of the animals’ natural environment.

An Advanced Animal Lighting System (AALS) simulates the natural sun by recreating night, day, and seasonal light cycles precisely like those found in the Pacific Northwest, in addition to providing complete spectrum UVA and UVB basking areas.
